Misoclear is a safe and effective treatment for incomplete abortion when used according to instructions.
Before starting the treatment you should:
Swallow 3 tablets of misoprostol (600mcg) with a glass of water
OR place 2 tablets (400mcg) under the tongue and allow to dissolve for 30 minutes. Swallow what is left in your mouth with water.
You can expect moderate to heavy bleeding with passage of clots, and cramping. It’s normal to have some bleeding and spotting for several weeks afterwards. Using menstrual pads can help you track how much you bleed.
You may have cramping on and off for 1 or 2 more days. You may also get other side effects such as chills, vomiting, and diarrhoea.
Bleeding and cramps are a sign the misoprostol is working, and this will usually lessen once the pregnancy tissue has passed.
